There is no homing to an encoder index at this time :( also we have never put in code to reset the count every 360... It is something that could be added but I think that will have to wait for quantum as we are trying to lock down Mach3 at this time.

Look at the pic's and you will see where the Tab is and in the next pic it shows you where the settings are after you press the tab.

Hope that helps

I don't know if the old ones are going to work :( The hardware ID is not the same and I don't even know if the data is in the same order... Best thing you can do is get a new one for mach3.

Sorry about that
Brian

Under the ports and pins that there is a tab for motor outputs. Under that you can set the pin number that mach will send the S&D out over. You also will need to check Sherline mode to get it running

General Mach Discussion / Re: tangential control problems...
« on: March 15, 2007, 08:37:32 AM »
Okay I think I see what the problem is and how to fix it... The people running the tangential control are in the states and that would explane why this is the first time i have heard this. I am thinking that I need to look at the Vel of the X,Y and Z and see if I can fit the A axis move in. This is in a section of code that is hard so please let me finish some of the other stuff that I am working on and I will get back to it.

Thanks
Brian

Are you looking for the OEMcode for the 4th axis?

This is a post for Lcam and you need to put it in the mach3 directory. after that you need to select the Post that you would like to use with the Select Post on the Post options dialog. after that you should have the M1's that you wanted in the programs from Lcam

What we did was give a longer step pulse (VERY long) and it is cleaning up your problem. AS long as it is running better I am happy...
