This new 4th axis toolpath was a TON of work from Art and I... Art and I both didn't know if we could make Mach3 do what we wanted it to do... But as you can see we did it! Art is getting to be a very good OpenGL programmer! I only play the small part of making math do what he needs...  Art is truly a great programmer!

That is a CV problem... There is a way to tell mach 3 to only round so much... Go to the settings page and do the following settings:
CV angle = 45
CV feedrate = 30 anf turn it on...
If you would like to have less rounding make the CV feedrate lower

It tells you the Distance to Go for that block... When the DRO's read 0,0,0 the move is done...

Measure the OD of the thread and see if it is about .005 to .010 under an inch size. If it is, it may be an inch thread... This should help...
