It is just about rebuilt :) Art cut a part for a motor mount and used it to drill holes too :)  Comp was fixed (again)...

There are many things that were done to make the program more stable and I hope it works better for all.

Lathe on the other hand is not as simple as it sounds :( I need to write a bit of code to get that all working... Art and I talked and it looks like after Lcam is done and working we are going to move on to hardware plugins and some way to run a toolchanger that will make it so you don't need to know VB or C++  :o

There is one other project after that as well but that one is "skunk works" stuff ;)

Benny is the one that can help you with Screen4

And the best thing is to play with the wizards and if you see something that you think you would like to do... look at the code under the button :) That is the best way to learn...

Good luck and tell me if you find "low cost"...

All you need to do is get something that can turn the bits on and off... so if you think you can do it with the parallel port go for it! you will not have much for I/O :(  but you may be able to get it to work!

Best of luck

Art may not have turned on the MPG code in Mach3 for the G100 :(  I hear there is new firmware, it is not ready for release but it is getting there! So I we will work more on it after it is done. all the code that is making it work now is going away and all new has to be made :( (I think Steve is doing that too :) )

Open up any of the wizards that I did in the past (other then the NFS set) and you can use the code in it for a base to start from :)

Hope that helps

I think I can get Spence fixed up :) He lives about 15min down the road and I went to collage with him .... So I went over and gave him a hand getting the mill up and running. He did a GREAT job getting the mill converted to a CNC mill! I think he should make kits for others to convert there mills  8)

It is a small world!
