Not sure it will help me but I would like to look at a packaged profile.. AND get a Dev version of you are not on the latest code. We had worked on closed loop code and Aux feedback in the latest versions and that may help you out.

I think we need to know a bit more about your machine. First, do you have encoder feedback? What are you running for electronics. It seems to me like we have a system that is trying to sync with with something that is not in the correct location...

I did look at your posts here and I didn't see a "parts" list for your machine. Could you please tell us a little bit of what your setup is?

We figured it out. They used the wrong function codes! The frames of how they constructed the data is correct... so it’s modbus done wrong lol. We can get it to talk to Mach4... I almost did it in Lua just for fun but we wanted to make it a plugin as that will be a bit simpler to install.

This file is created when you run mach4 for the first time. This is made from all your Mcodes. SO... Did you modify any of the Mcodes? You need to find the one that is causing your  issue. You don't "need" any of them to run the machine. You can simply delete them all if you need to . Also Make sure you didn't turn off the LUA plugin under the Configure -> control dialog / plugins tab.

Well frankly I don't really know. I would like to have the guys test it so I can see the problem. My issue is I don't have time to try everything myself If you can make a clear case as to how I can see the issue I am way more than happy to look at it. Only so many hours in a day and that is what I have the guys for! Save Steve and I some time getting problems so we can see them. I am willing to look at what you have if you think you have it down to a point that I can make it happen. Do I need any special hardware to make it happen?

Well after digging on the web we have found the docs for the VFD. We are going to make a new plugin for the drive because everyone seems to be using this drive! They are not great but they seem good enough LOL.

I hope we can test this in the week to come.
More when I know more

There is a setting in the ESS to tell it to do nothing if a probe is not found. We don't do a disable of the machine . I think you will find that is the ESS. It is some don't estop/disable if a probe is not found setting in the ESS dialog. Could that be the issue your having?

I can have the guys test this on a machine but I don't have one at my desk I can test with.
