Put in a G91 to make the move incremental

Also be sure to put a G90 at the end of the macro

General Mach Discussion / Re: Question about offsets
« on: March 24, 2007, 11:33:55 PM »
You need to have a master tool to set the fixture offset from. That also will be what all your tool lengths are based from. Have a look in the manual at the offsets and I think that will help you.

If you have problems please post

Thanks
Brian

G42/41 and leadins will work in the free version. you will not be able to offset the path in Lcam (With this you will not have te G42/41 trouble)

I have been working with the Pmac Pc104. IT seems like a very nice device but I have a problem where it will not talk to my computer. I am working on getting communications again and as soon as I have that I will start programing again. (Hardware can be a pain at times)

That all sounds right... but you will need to write a bit of code to make the stop/run Fwd/Rev to work. Mach3 likes to have Fwd/Stop Rev/Stop

To use the basic functions of Lcam you don't need an Lcam license. But to get the pocketing, lathe and foam you need to have an Lcam license (and the Pro version of Lcam is not included in your Mach3 license).

As Scott said use the First number of the range... That should get you working, I only have a PCI pport (This computer didn't come with a Pport)

You should be able to use it... Axis slaving did change so if you have a slaved axis you should check the slaving settings.
