The arcs that are making the cut is not a true spiral... Atrue spiral would have to be a bunch of VERY small moves:) As for the % tool Dia ... it is going to change a bit from the start to the end due to the fact that you can't start the cut without taking 100% of the tool.

Sorry, what threading wizard are you talking about?? the one in the NFS wizard ot the turn wizard?

I fixed the one in the turn wizard but not the NFS... I didn't think there was a problem in the NFS wizard. I will fix it ASAP if you tell me more.

There are machines that do this. It is not the best way but if you have a zero backlash belt drive or coupling it should work. That said the best way is to change the encoder.
