We were thinking about it but it will have to be in the VERY distant future :(  ... I would like to have the 4th axis code and tabbing done first :) After that I think we are looking at adding the drawing..

Sorry
Brian

You could add VB code to the feed hold button... That would do it!

I think you have a ground loop.. you are gettng noise into the step lines.

Could you tell us exactly what you have for hardware and pictures would also help.

General Mach Discussion / Re: DOS Machine?

The old dos software works well! IT is not windows and yu can't have all the cool things but it will make parts... But you should know that in the dos days no many people worried about CV so your cut times are going to be a bit slower :(

What is the cost of the upgrade?

I have a blank ,2-56holes and 0 layers.

This is not what you wanted? Do you have Lcam set to relayer the drawing when you bring in the drawing?

Offset should not be xed out... please check the help about and see if you are running in "pro" mode

If you get a bigger screen you will love it !  WE will see about making it smaller.

Is clicking one button that bad... I don't see that being added soon... it is not that bad and what if you get a lathe or a Plasma and you have it set to work only in Mill mode. Will you know where to reset mode? it sounds like a support problem to not set the mode.

THanks
Brian

Thank you,
Art and I are very happy to hear that the new Lcan has mad your work go faster  !

1)   Hmmm … we will keep a look out for the crashing problem over time
2)   We know about this but I don’t think it is a problem at this time
3)   We will have a look but that is VERY complex 
4)   And that is also the same size as the stock on the screen …
5)   This is fixed in the newest rev… it will not put an S if the speed is <=0
6)   I think  in the new rev that you can select many chains and offset them all at the same time. That should fix your problem
7)   I will have a look at making a few less Z moves.. that is a good idea
8)   This also have been working on in the new rev
9)   Could you please tell me more about what  you are thinking ?
10)   I have not seen this problem  I will look for it

Thanks
Brian

I will need to see the error..  could you do a print screen and save it as a bitmap? Then all you have to do is post it :)

Thanks
