Change your steps per unit to somthing like 20000 and that should fix your testing problem :)

I was thinking the wrong one  ;D It is now as follows:

Block.Format("G%.d X%.4f Y%.4f Z%.4f R%.4f F%.2f",Cycle,ent->startx,ent->starty,Depth,RapidHeight,FeedPlunge);

General Mach Discussion / Re: Milling arcs and circles on a cylinder
« on: July 12, 2006, 07:31:42 PM »
The way to get around this is to change the A axis to be the Y axis and scale it so that it is the write distance on the outside of the cylinder by playing with the steps per unit. This is not a great way to do it but it will get it done... The right way is to break the arc into little lines and output it as X A moves.

I just got in the Minarik DCD01330 DC drive for the spindle :) I hooked it up as a test and WOW did that ever make that motor work better! The spindle will go from 0 - 3000 RPM in about .5sec ! The spindle can now go full forward to full reverse (3000 RPM) in about 1 sec, This is going to be very good for CSS :)

This is a small update but there will be more as the parts start to show up

Thanks
Brian
