I didn’t forget about this. I have been updating the code for the mouse mpg wizard. I will try to make a video showing shuttle mode. It really works slick! I will post it here soon.

Sounds like a z axis stepper problem. You may need to lower the acceleration and or the max velocity. Can you jog the Zaxis up and down?

Can you connect to the  VFD with modbus? This works well and you can get the spindle load on the screen as a bonus! The low cost drives can be a real challenge to get communication working.

Offsets, gosh I like offsets! I can tell you that G92 and the fixture offsets system can not be used together. If you want to do shifts G52 is the best. We also have work shifts, head shift and tool offsets for every axis (yes tool offsets are not just for the z anymore). So please tell us what the end goal is and we will tell you what system will best do it for you.

Keep the motors and change out the drives. I bet you can find drives on Ebay that will run the motors.

L is the repeat  and L zero should skip. This is how you avoid parts sticking up when drilling . This is in the manual I checked because I was worried I did it wrong! Graham was very adamant that this feature was in Mach4 before anyone got to use it !

Looked and the newest versions this us all correct. By chance did you import a profile or bring in a parameter file? If this is all stock stuff, what profile did you use and what release.

You can change the code so it will not post the message. Also you can make it ask for the tool every time . It is your toolchange, make it work how you want.
