Sounds to me like you have a noise problem... are you running steppers or servos?

Yes if there is any mechanical bounce at all in the system the computer will pick it up...

Hello Mike,
There is a post processor in Lcam and you are just using the default one... I will write you a simple post file to fix your trouble

Thanks
Brian

That sounds about as good as you can get for a router... Other then that you are going to have to move to servos and use the index to home the machine.

You set this under the General configs and I think it is in the upper right

Also look in the BP, I think they used a galil... or it is a delta tau.

If it is a galil you could just run it from Mach3 and not rewire the mil ;)

General Mach Discussion / Animatics Servo's
« on: March 12, 2007, 11:49:40 PM »
Hello all!
First I wanted to say that I am sorry for not being on as much as I have in the past :( ... I have been working on the board from Delta Tau (Complex little sucker) and motors from Animatics. The Animatics are running Gcode and seem to be working! The DRO's are a little slow but other then that it is a running well! I am running all three motors over an RS232 network out of a USB Comport! The Comport is VERY slow compared to the PPort but I am getting the encoder data from the servo and if you get out of the following error you will trip an error in Mach3. Jogging is working VERY well! It is like jog on the PPort! As fas as I can press the key the motor is responding! I hope to have this plugin out in the next month or so and at that time I will be looking for people that would like to test.

So thank you and if you have any questions please feel free to ask
Brian

You are going to need the specs off the motors and once you have that you can look at servo drives. Look at the drives from CNC Teknix drives (I think they will be about the right size also see if you can use GeckoDrives)
