External threads will cut into the part fron out outside. So the rapid moves will pull out in the +X Direction and cutdepths will go more negitive the deeper the thread is cut. The internal threads will rapid back in the -X direction and will advance the cut in the +x direction. I think that is what you were asking ... and to get the wizard to cut an internal thread you just have to give a smaller start dia and a larger end dia.

Change the infeed angle to zero and you should be good to go :)
