Please used feed hold, now you can set to do a controlled stop on cycles stop under the config-> controller dialog.

I got a spindle to test it with... MAN that was fast! I will have wires in the spindle waiting for a dump electrons from the VFD ! This thing is small for 2.2kw, 3HP of pure fun!
I have a Germo usb to 422/485 converter somewhere here that I will use in my test as well.

Waiting like a kid for Xmas

You can set it up as an input. Check in the logging that it is working. After that you will need to edit the Signal script table in the screen load script (this is done in edit mode of the screen). You will see an example of the code you need in the script  with it rem'd out.  Sounds hard but it will be simple to walk you through it.

We tested the UC100 and it is working fine putting out the PWM so I think it is just a setting we need to get sorted

The problem is we don't make that code so it would not be the manual for us to show how that works  . I will tell you that we have fixed this issue before now that I think of it. Please send me an Email with your M3 INI and your Mach 4 profile. I will set it up and test it with a scope here and see what we need to change.
I know I can make it work! I just need to have the scope on it to see it working. We make the spindle run tomorrow!

You should check out my plugin that I did ... You can even use it as a mouse in windows! Mapping to toggle functions is easy with the one that I have. I am going to pin it the the top of this section
