Hello guys,
We are working on finishing up mill in legacy mode now and as soon as that is finished I was going to get Turn up and working in Legacy mode.  When all that is done we will be able to make and use a new Lathe screen using the new VB and system vars.

The code for Rev 3 and rev 4 are not the same at all so it is like I am working on two diffrent programs :( . So doing bug fixes and working on rev 4 has been very taxing on me but I feel it is going to be well worth it when it is done!

Thanks
Brian

General Mach Discussion / Re: COMPLEX THREADING WIZARD

I was in hopes that the complex wizard would go away :) it was far to complex  to be useful ;(

But if you would like to fix it... You have my permission to do anything you like :)

I see that you are getting the error in a jog... that may be a problem with phase jitter.

Also I see you say you are getting an over volocity.. Could you please tell me if you get the error in Exact stop? I know where there is a problem with CV and I have added some code to check for this but there are times the CV will enter the move a bit to fast..

Thanks

General Mach Discussion / New Plugin Interface for Rev4
« on: October 21, 2009, 11:19:55 AM »
Hello,
I have done a first draft of the new plugin interface for the Mach3 Rev4. This interface changes some of the var names (Less then 5%) and a few other minor changes. This Doc I hope will show the amount of work that is needed to convert a plugin from Rev 3 to Rev 4 . This should allow for any version of C++ to be used when I am finished but I need to make some new methods for getting and setting Strirngs. The reason for this is that CStrings are not part of the C++ STL :(  More on that later as I finish it up.

Please tell me if you have a hard time following the guide.

Thanks
Brian

BTW this is only for the plugin authors
