load up Mach3 and use the simple threading wizard... This should get you cutting nice threads in no time!

The USB converter will not work because of how it is hooked into the computer.. there needs to be a connection to the bus Not just a buffered serial communication...

You have it on the noise... I have had this problem in the past and had to install line drivers...

The Grex is the way to go IF you need to have a laptop... Other than that use a desktop, you can get one for about 300 that will run like a dream

Try changing the step pulse width to 5us under motor tuning. The Next thing that you may have to look for is noise on the step line from the motors..

I am looking at it now... I was in the middle of Gerber importing code for LCam Pro, but I now have that all working and will start in on the wizard set.
