I am getting an Abnormal flashing button with a comment about "Axis are not refed to normal condition". Somehow I started this and now can't figure out how to correct the problem. OK, I am not sure what it means or what I did to cause it.

Can anyone help?

If this is still the problem... all you need to do is set up your machine so that it is ready to run and double click on the "Normal Condition" and it will set that state to be the normal run condition of your machine :) that is all it is..

There was a problem with the bitmap buttons that could have caused the problem that you have. when the new version is out please test it and see if it helps.

You need to know what you have for heardware to set the settings :)
