Check your settings and set your ports and pins.. the Port will be port one and the pins is where ever you have it hooked :)

What are you using for a breakout board?

Thanks
Brian

Good job getting that fixed!

Sorry I didn't see this one :)

Okay the first the Surface wizard that is free is about 20 years old and I never work on it ;) The wizrad set from me is worked on all the time! If there is a bug I fix it becasue I want it to make your life a little better not harder...

Now as for the Stock height you are just about right! this is so you can cut from Z.2 to Z0.0 . This may not seem to be any realy big deal but think of it like this. If you have a chunk that is starting out at about 1" by 1" and you would like to have it .75 by .75 and Z0 to be the top of the part in the end when it is .75 . So you turn on the spindle take to tool down till it just cuts and type .25 into the Z axis DRO. Now you run the wizard with .25 as the stock height and cut it down to .125. Flip the part and cut from .125 to 0.0 and you are done

Hoe that helps

Check all your settings and after you change a setting close mach3 and reopen it. Every time you close Mach you are saving the XML and reloading the XML when you open the software. The XML is where all the settings for you machine are being saved... when you have it all running right save your XML on an other computer that way you have all the settings for your machine if your computer ever craps out again :)

Thanks and hope that helps

General Mach Discussion / Re: Question about A axis feed rates
« on: September 18, 2006, 08:23:09 AM »
Put in the Axis Dia in on the settings page and Enable the Feedrate. this will take into account the Dia that you are feedin on so that you will not have to program on Degrees per min  :)

The feedrate will not change as your spindle speed goes up... But if you are in Units/Min it will keep the correct "chip load" by changing the Units per min off feed rate to keep the feed per rev right... So to your question I think it is yes... (that was  a hard one)
