I just did an Anilam Mill... I took the motors off and every wire out of the control :) I put on 1KW motors and got the mill doing 500IPM :) You could keep the motors but the drives are going to have to go...

Use the Sherline mode and they will run great! it is on the ports and pins page...

It is doable... But you are going to have to write your VB script to probe the tool. I hope to have time to make the scripts but it is going to be some time... But if you work on it I wil help :)

This is odd you should be running at this point... So you have a PC4CNC board that is going to the geckos. Are there any led's on the board so you can see that it is getting pulses? Also when you install DO NOT uncheck the load driver. Be sure that the control is set to online. That is about all I can think of at this point.
