To do this you will have to write your own plugin in C++ :( It should not be that hard and I would have a look at the board from CNC4PC, They have a new modbus board that should get you the data that you need.

Yup... If there is no Mach3 Lic on your system it will only output 50 lines of code... If you have a Pro lic that will also Lift the 50 line limit...

It would be cool if we had then time to spend making there software work with Lcam but we just don't have the time to do that ;(  There are to many cool things to do and no time to do them.
