Sherline mode is in Mach3 :) If you are just getting started you should run mach3 it is MUCH more stable...
Thanks

you can use any macro that you like :) The problem is that you can only have one button the is doing everything. Art and I have talked about changing this but it is going to be after the G100 is done...

There will be a bug fix for the buffered commands..
Thanks
Brian

The pulse width is about 3 usec.. you can make it greater by adding time to the step pulse under the motor tuning page :) If you are going to run slow opto's run in Sherline mode, this will give you a step pulse that is about 20 usec long

hope that helps

The best way to get the macro number loaded on startup is to add the M450 to the init string (under Config/State)

that should do it...

I ran the numbers and it looks like 1909.86steps per inch... Are you sure it is a 1" Dia and not Rad :(

How are you reversing it in Mach3? if every thing you are doing is coming out revered in the A axis you need to change the direction of the axis... I need to know a bit more about your settings...

The parts you can get from MSC ( http://www1.mscdirect.com/cgi/nnsrhm??KNC-T7L391316886 )

You would not need a wizard at first... You could write a Gcode program to get coil that you like and after that we could make a quick wizard :)

If the DRO's are changing there are steps coming out the printer port... The only way it would not put steps out the printer port is if you unchecked the "install Driver" at install. Look on the Diagnostics page and tell me what you see in the "Time in Int." DRO

Thank you
