General Mach Discussion / Re: New CV features

Scott:

By the way >> (1) exact stop mode, (2) exact path mode, or (3) continuous mode.

Mach implements 1 & 3, #2 was never implemented. Thats a quote from EMC and in EMC, exact path, though documneted, was never written..

Hi Scott:

>>>What we need (ShopBots converted over to Geckos) is an Exact Path Mode with a variable feedrate.  Decel into the corners and acell out of the corners over a certain distance at a certain speed with a slight slow down at gentle curves without hesitation at each segment.

Yup, thats what I get. :), thats what CV does on a system that can stand acceleration.. I do think that that the Bug brian mentions may have been affecting you very badly, try the latest version.. We'll be interested int he result..

Hi Chris:

My applogies, Ive had some related trouble with the analysis of max and min travel, its a conversion thing from work to machien coordinates and zeroing.
The analysis actually uses the display so theres alot of interaction. Ill be back on it shortly, next version will hopefully kill it all..

Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Re: MACH3 UPDATE
« on: November 27, 2006, 03:55:04 PM »
Hello Fabio:

I have checked your license in the database. Im sorry to tell you that your license
was posted on the usenet users groups last month. It is the responsibility of every user to
protect their license. Your license is now in use all over europe , and as such has been turned off.
The policy on pirated licenses is strict, that license will not be reactivated. The cost of replacement
is to purchase a new license. (and keep it secure.)

Im sorry for the trouble, but the only way for a license to get into circulation, is for the user to give
it to someone else to use. Whoever has access to yours posted it on the internet for all to use.

We do not redo licenses that have been found to be pirated, it has been tagged in the database,
and discontinued as a valid license. I suggest you find whoever distributed it, and have them purchase
you a new license. Pirated licenses are usually found within days, and several have been turned off
as a result. Im sorry for the trouble, but we need to control such things, and can have little tolerance
when a user loses control of his or her license. I hope you understand our reasoning behind this. My
license policy is about as generous as they get, but when posted on the internet, it is shut off forever.

Thanks

Mach Screens / Re: Can't add LED's

Hi Gerry:

First, Im told by my top elves, that you are very helpfull to other Mach3 users in CNCZone. Due to time constraints , I dont
get there very often, but thank you for your consideration for others. Consider yourself presented with a platinum card.
(Basically, that means you have top status for bugs or suggestions or functions you may need coded in to help with your projects.).

Now, as to your problem. I havent seen that before, or heard of it. Does this happen because you have a special graphic
for an LED. Or does this happen with all LED's? You might try deleting the Screen4.xml file, but dont forget to reset the default location of
Mach3 if you do. If this happens on Any LED, perhapos you can just send me the current screen4.xml you have, and Ill do a trace
to find what can cause that, it sounds like its trying to load a non-existant bittmap or something..

Now that Ive seen and replied to this, Ill be notified by the system of any responces, so post anything here,
or send to me directly. I do answer all errors or bugs sent to me, but even when I get backlogged, you "platinum card holders" get a
priority.  We do take notice of those that help others..sometimes we just take awhile to notice.. (thanks , elf..)..

There are actually a few on the platinum list who dont know it, but people like yourself, Hood, and a few others get top
priority on all troubles or requests.. (I just sometimes need helpp finding messages like this one. SO if your in a hurry, or want to
make sure I hear about it, message me directly.. I monitor the yahoo group daily, and this forum when pointed here by Brian or Benny
when someone needs help I can give. (The rest of the time Im buried under an enourmous load of code fragments.. :-)

Thanks

Darn, you had my hopes up. :), thankis for trying though, tghe experiment is always worthwhile.
When Vista is fully released, Ill likely try taking a run at it, but XP was a miracle, so I wouldnt count on it..

Thanks
