Just a note, those motions arent reallt extraneous, just what it woudl do if the bar was free hanging, as its as close to facing as it can get with that tool.

Hi Rich:

I will, but I have a few things to do with Gearotic before I do. I havent peeked at the code for some time, what do you think are the real requirements at this point to call a finish pass done. A lot depends on what I CAN do vs what is required at this point. I know the last time I used it it did provide me with enough code to do what I needed to do, though the finish pass was perhaps a bit too broken up. ( though it did do a proper finish..)

Wow, been so long sinc e I used 1024x768 I tend to forget its still widely used. My 24" monitors woudl rebel at the thought.
Ill give some design thought to solve the issue..

Thx, appreciate the report.

Chris:

4-bar linkage gears follow certain rules. If those rules are violated, the gear disappears when in illegal position. Generally just follow the rule that a gear should be larger than its master to use a 4-bar link, unless the master is also linked and cannot therefore rotate more than 180 degree's. Even in the latter case, care must be used in positioning. If a gear disappears when simulating, delete it and try agian. :)

:)

Thx

Do any of the sample dxf's load? Or is it just a particular one that fails?

Im not sure why that woudl be. Usually just the update and then the exe is all thats required to run the program. At the very least after installing the LazyCam update and then LazyTurn itself you should be able to run. I take it your video card drivers are up to snuff? Its the only other thing Ive heard of helping.

Hi Rich:

Thx, John reports same with less than 1024 on the vertical resolution. I suspect Ill either have to change the layout, or
set  hhh x 1024 as the minimum rez..

Were those computers running 800x600 or 1024x768?
