General Mach Discussion / Re: OEMLed 111
« on: July 11, 2007, 04:32:43 PM »
Hi:

1)  OEM LED #111 is not usable by users. It reflects internal states. There is no feedhold state that can be monitored by an led.

I ll have to look into the other two, Im really not sure of the issue. Ill try a macro to activate the feedhold and see what 'I see.

« on: July 11, 2007, 09:14:12 AM »
Hi Guys:

I thought itd be a good idea to have a "Share the Gcode board", for when you have a sharp looking project youd like to share.
Ill start it off witha file I got for debugging. I cut it and it looks great. Please describe your files briefly, or provide a photo.

This one is a Royal Enfield Logo for Motor cycles. Nice pice, about 173 x 150mm's in size, 1mm deep.

LazyCam (Beta) / Re: LazyCam 2.081 Issues
« on: July 07, 2007, 11:57:27 PM »
HI Chip:

1. The red line Chain#0 shows 2 line segments and 1 arc., Should be 3 individual Chains, Really messes up the way you want to cut.

If lines are joined, they become a chain, no way out of that at the moment.

2. The second picture shows trying to move start point for one of the arc's, Turns into Circle, Will go away now when moved back.

Looks like a bug.. but moving a start point of an arc can be hard if you dont move end and center. I dont think you can do that yet. It shoudl be drawn in the right spot.

3. Loaded file always has a rapid hight, Sometimes it's 0, 1 or 60 in Max Z Chain's Tab, Even if all Tabs show 0 for Z , The View shows some Rapid Hight when loaded.

Loaded files get set to defaults, all default have a rapid, you have to manually chnge them

4. Where do you change the Drill peck distance, Only peck's first hole down to Z 0 then no peck to final depth..

There is no peck cycle in Lazycam as yet. It only drills..

General Mach Discussion / Re: Cutter comp

Lew:

That sbecause when the program starts up, tool 0 is assumed. Without an explicit change to the right tool , th eG41 command with no parameter will use tool 0, whcih is always a 0 comp. Always a good idea to use the D with the G41, though the D can be anywhere.  A d1 could be on a line for example, and will specify the default tool
to use when a G41 is encountered. When an m6 occurs, the D internal variable is repointed to the tool that just went in.

Mach3 and G-Rex / Re: Problem with Grex and MPG (analog in/out also)

Hi:

The monitor shoudl show the encoder values change. Make sure your set to external incrment 1 and internal increment 0.
If the encoder is hooked up right to an encoder input on the G100, you shoudl see the numbers change..

Hi:

When you flash the G100, its very normal to get that message. But you should only get that message when it gets flashed. Its becauise it loses com while
it reboots. Are you sure the IP is locked in the G100. Sounds liek it has a different IP. If you run the GLoader, does the right IP show up in the web page?
