Hi,
when you move the toolpath display Mach has to compute a redraw and that starves the motion control of CPU service.

With some very big files its recommended to turn the toolpath display off altogether.

I keep get a massage "to fast for pulley" what is this and why?

You're commanding the spindle to run faster then the pulley speed is set. Set the pulley speed to the range you want to use the spindle.

My friend has just loaded XP pro in to his cnc but cant get Mach 3 to work is he missing something??

Obviously he has missed something.  :)

May I suggest that he reads the Mach3 Manual which contains quite detailed installation and setting-up instructions.  https://www.machsupport.com/help-learning/product-manuals/

who is the maker of this screen i would like to buy but no one can reply to the emails i sent
can this screenset be used on all my 6 machines or do i have to buy it 6 times

i have my machines set already they have been working great since... is this screenset plug and play will it work with the settings i currently use

Sorry, I forgot to reply to your email the other day.
For hobby use, yes, you can use it on all of your machines. If it's a business, I'd like you to buy one for each machine.

The screenset does not change your existing settings.
Be aware that the probing macros do not work with most chinese controllers, if that's what you have.
