In 6 years, I've heard from maybe 5 others who ran into that. They were all able to resolve it. I believe it's either Windows or virus security settings.

I have 2010 screen set working, I think.  I got it to hopefully have a viable probing routine, but once I got it installed and set up, I ran into a problem.  I am trying to find the center of a circular pocket, but after initial contact on the Y axis, I get a "probe ignored" message.  It appears it is not backing off enough to reset the probe.  How do I adjust this?

Also, I was wondering if there are flyout tool tips for the buttons?  I understand I will have to learn them, but it is kinda slow having to resort to the manual for each button until I learn them.

Thanks
Dan

Sadly the Mach3 software does not support description boxes at all. I think it is a programming issue.

I arranged the buttons descriptions and probing to fit on two A4 pages. I have it printed and laying around to be at hand when needed. I attach it here, maybe you and/or other users will find it useful.

Sorry, I was away for the weekend with no internet access.

The macros are coded to back off 1/4 of the probe diameter. You'd need to edit the macros to change it.
Backing off further is not going to help if the probe is still being triggered after backing off 1/4 of the probe diameter.
Is the probe sticking, or the contacts bouncing? Perhaps noise is triggering it?

As mentioned, mach3 does not support tool tips.

I adjusted for noise, but haven't tested yet.  I tried access the macro by the button edit feature, but no luck

Operator > VB Script Editor.
The macros are M code macros, and the numbers are listed in the probing manual.
You want to edit M909 in the Mach3\macros\yourprofilename\ folder

I can't promise anything right now, as I'm swamped with work.
About a month or two ago, I started researching the pp and downloaded all the docs I could find. But I didn't have any time to start learning it.
It could be two weeks, or 6 months. But I'll see if I can find some time sooner rather than later.
