If you're using Mach3 version 3.043.022, then you need to update to a newer version. This is a known Mach3 bug, and is mentioned in the 2010 manual and on my website.

Many thanks Gerry, The files got it all moving along nicely

Added some code to the probing page "Open button" and the "close button" to move the Z axis to a safe position to lower and raise the probe.

Excellent screenset btw!

Hi

I love the screen just need a little help. Where is the axis calibration located since i am having a hard time finding it? Do i need to do it in the original screen then swap over and if so will it mess up the motor tuning swapping from screen to screen?

You need to go back to the default screen if you need to use the axis calibration. It's not included in the 2010 Screenset.
Changing between screens should have no effect on anything, but it's a good idea to close and restart mach3 and time you change any settings.

Hi guys,

I am running the 2010 screenset on a all aluminium milling machine with a steel chinese spindle. I currently am trying to use the auto xyz function, but as both the aluminium part and the spindle with the cutting bit are grounde to my table it does not work.

The only way i have been able to get around the problem is to wrap the spindle in electrical tape. This does work but with so much metal swarf flying around it does not take long for it to short the homing system out. Is there a way around this  that any one has tried or perhaps evev a setting for it.

I thought about setting the low high check box but not sure if that would work. The other alternative maybe would be to use a proper spring loaded probe with the little ball on the end, as that would still trogger but not electricall short.

So what do u think??

Thanks in advance

You can try using some single sided PCB material as a touch plate, as it will be isolated on one side.
Or as you said, use an actual probe.

Hello Everyone,

I just installed the 2010 Screenset and looks Great!!
But I have few small issues. First is the resolution on my monitor is 1600x900 and every 2010 screenset i used is to wide for my screen
So I can't see the whole screen. No big feal I just use 2010.set a bit smaller on my screen but it looks OK.
2nd problem is no matter what tab I use lets say run, offsets or any I have some numbers below and outside the screen.
If I click on the tool change tab than those numbers are still there along with some other numbers on the side of the screen.
Weird Right?  Last thing I'm trying to use  the simple z zero bit And I get an error (clearance plane must >0- please reset)
I home my z to the top in machine cordinates is +0.0000 along with my x and y axis What am I doing wrong?
Bellow is a screenshot of my screen and the numbers outside the screen.
