Read the 2010 Screenset manual. It explains how to modify the homing by editing the macros. Last part of the manual.

Yes, there's a link to it on my webpage, and also in your Start menu where you have the screenset installed.

I have mach 3 screenset 2010. recently i have been having issues with the touch off. i am in G54 and i have zeroed x, y and z. when i got to use the double touch off the z axis will move about 20 thousands and the retracts and starts to head off to my fixed plate. it never touchs my work height plate. when it gets down to my fixed plate it lowers about 20 thousands (never touching the fixed plate ) then it comes back and wants to run the g code. i have closed mach3 and saved the fixture and not saved the fixture. but it still wont go all the way to either touch pad. i have checked all my settings nothing has changed. i'm not sure what to do. i have even shut down my computer and restarted, same problem.

Most likely, noise is triggering your probe input.
It's been the case in 100% of users who see this or something similar.

In a lot of cases, users add a capacitor across the input if the wiring change doesn't help.

Well i changed the wiring to my touch off and fixed plates to shielded cables. i am still having the first part of my problem. the first touch off to the work piece still moves about 20 thousands. the second half of the cycle works ok now gantry moves over my fixed plate and the z axis drops down and the bit touches off my fixed plate. i changed my BOB also and that didnt make any differance. i thought maybe it would. i'm a bit confused the touch off sequence has worked good up till last week. i did not change anything on my machine or to the software. should i try reinstalling the sceenset? if it comes down to needing a capacitor what size should i use. i have a Radio Shack a few miles from the house.

Are you seeing a message stating that probing is complete? If so, then it's almost certainly noise.

I doubt that re-installing anything will make any difference. The only way that would help is if there's a problem with the M881 macro. I've never heard of that happening.
You could try creating a new .xml file from scratch and see if that makes any difference. I have seen .xml files go bad. But I don't think it would affect the operation of the macro, but I guess it's possible.

I don't really know a lot about electronics, but I think it's either .01uF
