thanks man. i did this photo montage to show how work was done precad.. lol.. the good old days.. i had to make this by hand yesterday because of the time factor involved.

this of course has nothing to do with mach or mills but figred would be interesting none the less as a comparative look at the production process...

this was a bit of fun.. i tested a new fixture from Finland... no preperational moves.. just trusted mach fixture offsets to work right.

how can we get around the filename issue on the forum, we all own digital cameras so everytiem i post from my camera someone else has already posted with that image name requiring me to repost from scratch after renaming my files?

Chris, slow down a bit, chill, you are just way too productive. Remember 'supply and demand' or you will flood the market and prices will fall.  ;D

been a bit since i posted here, been pretty busy actually.. this one was a bit different to do.. challenge was to cut it with hollows to bring weight down as its to be cast in platinum... even a 5th axis would have struggled with this so öut of the box"time

1: cut flips as per usual, add some caps
2: run rotary path over hollowing areas to cut through solid heart sections
3: use caps to plug holes only 1mm deep from top, melt into place with wax pen
4: run full rotary path
5: drink beer.. kick dog.. shout at kids.. fart..

(dusted gold to photograph better)
