Atta boy, Chris!!!
At the first of June it was...."my wifes first multisided index job!"
Now it's...."my wife does all my milling... she does virtually all my pathing as well....can write a complex multipass multiangle path"
Now THAT'S what I call training. Nice job letting her know that she 'still ain't there yet' by complaining about layer colors. You can't let them get too sure of themselves, or they might start thinking they are closer to an equal, rather than an underling. The next time she's working on something, step in and change some tiny thing that don't even make sense. Of course she will say "why did you do that for?" Upon which you will reply some totally off the wall crap, that you make up in your head such as..."Because that's the way it has to be done. Otherwise, the tool used at that spindle speed, cutting WX-233 impregnated wax in a microdyne constorted fashion, would surly make a mess of things in a hurry. I won't even go into the other mistakes I see because we can live with them for now. The important thing is...your getting there, but there's still a looooong way to go"
Then you can walk off, and go finish watching how Shaggy and Scooby solve there latest mystery, or Meerkat Manor or something.
Awesome job, Chris.

see i can do it myself too! 4 to 6 hour wait on rest of job will pot updates then
Was going ot do a tut on this pathing but I am having trouble with periodic crashed so decided to doa step by step pictorial instead.
1: Setup huge wax block
2: Check X old fashoined way
3: Run the roughing paths with a 3.17 EM
4: Cut the hole for Brant's arbor.
5: Start indexing path, this one includes all blockers in place and is low res at 0.05mm stepover.
6: Hide the side panel blocker and go in at 0.02 stepover
7: Cut the indexed taper ball areas at about 50 degrees
REPEAT 5 - 7 at A180 again.
8: Use paint to check that detail is ok before removing from mill.
9:Rotary phase1 , full cut at low res 0.05mm Blockers back in place.
10: which will be followed by three indexs at 290 - 0 - 70.
Keep fingers crossed rotary phase comes good, will edit and add pics after its done.
