Hi Chris,

I really don't know where you get the time to keep doing all this work - haven't you got any hobbies ?   ;D

Thanks man..  I am going to be be making about another 10 hours or so of vids detailing all the different aspects of milling jewelery in laymans terms to keep on my website for customers and general consumption. that was a precursor.. hopefully my directors skills will improve..

On a side note.. and i have asked ths same question in other quarters.. im getting tired of jewelery.. but i cant figure out what else to do that will include cad and cam and my handskills in another industry that will pay better? I earn way under what guys around me in other trades are (with far less skills than me (not being facetious))  are and i am not getting any younger... at 37 if i want to trade hop the time is now..

any suggestions? job offers? random million dollar donations to my cause?

Hi Chris,

I don't think that anybody who works in a 'hands on trade' by using their skills really earns any money. I know quite a few skilled craftsmen from various ,apprenticeship backed, trades and they just earn average money (and work hard for it).

The way to go is to provide a service rather than a product and just use your skills for private and personal jobs. I know a few rich people and none of them physically produce a product in their work. They perhaps don't sleep too well at night but they don't seem to me to be working very hard for their money.

It's sad but true.

Tweakie.
PEACE
