I've upgraded to '062 to solve a turn issue but my previous version in "MILL" mode had custom button scripts on the offset screen to drive a touch probe, and also for tool height setting.  I'd like to find these and transfer them to the new version but I can't find them!  Presumably not in the .xml file?

Where are they please?

John.

General Mach Discussion / Mach 3 USB Output
« on: August 15, 2015, 09:29:39 AM »
You miss my point.  The item to which the OP linked is clearly a parallel port BoB, and it says that USB is for power.  At least two other types of BoB are the same, I have one of each.  Yes Mach can output via USB with a suitable driver, but not to this board.

The reason these BoBs have a USB port is usually just to provide a +5V computer reference supply for the opto-isolators.  They do not process any signals on the USB port and indeed don't look at the data signals at all.

Mission accomplished.  I discovered how easy it is to reinstall the Xbox plugin, and the I used the OD Fillet wizard to turn a hemishere on the end of my bar by settingh the radius equal to the bar radius and the length equal to the radius.  Simples!

OK, have installed '062, worked out how to restore the right xml, and tested the wizards out.  Work exactly as expected, no crashes.  Now I just need to get my xbox controller working again and the mill profile.

Many thanks for all the help!  As always, this forum gets me to a fix quickly.

OK, thanks Dickeybird.  I'll download '062 and give it a whirl.

Presumably '066 is the latest for Mill, can I have two versions on my computer at the same time please?  Or doesn't that work?
