Think of a lathe as a standard mill lying on its left hand side as viewed by the operator.

I have a CNCDrive UC100 - in fact two, one on lathe and one on mill.  They work very well.  Mine came from a CNCDrive stockist in the UK, make sure you get a genuine one as clones are available.  This has a USB interface but they also have Ethernet types.  I run Mach3 on a Win10 Dell mini PC.

Well I think that's your problem, no Mach3 plugin.  Ask the supplier.

I looked at the website and they don't mention a plugin anywhere as far as I can see - usually there would be a download or support area from which you can download it.  It might have come on a CDRom or memory stick?

The controller should have an associated plugin which needs installing as described in the Mach3 manual.  Do you have that?  If not you will get nowhere.  I use UC100 motion controllers with Mach3 and they work fine so it is possible.

Could you post your code? What size cutter are you using? Spiral mill or pocket?

I have done something like this by saving the coordinates to a tool table which can be exported using some utilities which are somewhere on this site.

Sounds very much like the tool pulling slightly out of its collet as Steve suggests.  What tool+collet are you using, and what material?

Hello, can someone tell me when all of a sudden when I'm cutting on my cnc machine that the machine seems that it's changing its zero setting and cutting deeper. destroying the project that I'm working on. thanks for your help.

Can you actually see the Z DRO setting change when this happens?
