RICH,
Although my behaviour over the last year was somewhat lackluster to say the least,  ::) that should be of no concern to Ron. ;D
For $50.00, I expect caviar on the side. :D
Anxious to see you all there,

i am eagerly waiting for the registration form so I can park my buns on one of the remaining unpadded seats. I am willing to give up the pancakes as long as I get a seat,
Len.

Your buns are safe though, I am diabetic  :(

By all means Graham, plan to attend.
I propose that all Administrators get FREE admission.

After all, I can only imagine the pummelling they will get with all of the Q&A.

Hope to see you there Graham,
RC

So do any of you know which day(s) you'll be attending? I want to go on Friday as I'm not sure I'll be able to make it on Saturday.

Just out of curiosity, how long do the seminars last? For instance, here's Fridays agenda:

Friday
1) Mechanical Considerations. Stepper, servos, ballscrews, belts, pullies, etc
2) Electronics, BOBs, SS, Geckos, Power supplies, general wiring hints
3) Installing Mach and basic config, ports and pins, motor tuning, basic test and debug
4) General config, choosing the right answers.

It starts at 9:00 and then it goes until??

I'm wondering too Dave.

"On Friday a major auction will be running with hundreds of items, including machines, tools, all kinds of shop equipment and  models. The seminar schedule has several breaks included so you can take advantage of both the expo and the seminar."

I'd like to participate in the auction as well.

Maybe Ron will fill us in soon.

Exactly. I'd love to catch the seminars but would love to walk around and take part in the auction as well.

I don't know the schedule but if it's anything like Galesburg, you will want to be there every day. Lots of good seminars filled with good people and impossible to cover it all. The until part is hard to nail down too. Some days in Galesburg teaching was happening past 9 PM.

I expect the seminars will be about like the tentative schedule we put up earlier, but we will likely shift things a bit as we get closer to the time and maybe pickup another speaker or two.

I do expect it to be busy all 3 days- I hope we can have about 4 daily session of 1 1/2 hour with about 30 min between sessions to do a walk around the show. There will be a lot happening.

Im sure there will be some guys that cant get there for Friday, but I did not think we could do justice to all we want to cover in just 2 days.  Lots to do, we will do our best to cover everything.

Dave,
We plan on attending all three days and definitely spending Friday night in York.
So maybe I'll bring a cushion for the chair.  ;D
Of course any consumptiion on Friday night will be purely for medicinal purposes.  ;)
