Usually a low resolution encoder 100 to 500 PPR.
We offer this one:

If you have used and are familiar with tuning a servo and you are SURE that the motors are in good condition, the DG4S or G320 good options.  But keep in mind that those are high-maintenance motors and closed-loop steppers or AC servos are so inexpensive now.  So be sure to balance this out.

Check the C76 for using the UC300ETH on servos or systems with feedback as we have connector boards that tap directly into the fault and enable signals.  So it allows for a clean wiring:

That motion controller cannot handle discrete I/Os in real-time, so stuff like homing, probing, THC, etc..  does not work.

PoKeys / Re: Pokeys57CNC connection to G320 driver
« on: April 02, 2024, 08:02:22 AM »
That wiring will not work.  The encoder and and ERR/RES signals are common with the mains, it will damage the PoKeys57CNC.  This wiring is very dangerous.

We offer a way of connecting those:

Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Strange occurence in Mach 4

Native34,

I just found this thread in our forum in which you state that you could not get support for us for tuning the servo.  I am not sure you reached to us, but we have a ticket system and you can open a ticket with this and we will give you a hand:

https://cnc4pc.com/contact/

The problem you are having is a tuning issue and the advice you have been given here is right on.
Here are other resources that may help you:

Tuning guide: http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/PID_tuning_eng.pdf

Sample Configuration file for that motor: http://cnc4pc.com/Files/DG4S08020-34-180-72.PID

Steve,

Here it is.

I had to add the .txt so it would allow to upload it.

Steve,

It looks like PMC is still not doing calculations with decimals:
