Hi,
you need to check that your step and direction pins are correctly assigned, it sounds like you have both X and Y step inputs being feed from a single signal.

Hi,
a screen shot of Machs Ports & Pins Motor page should be enough.

can you try to enter a G69 in MDI Input,
just to make sure X/Y plane is not turned.

just a idea
anything is possible, just try to do it.
if you find some mistakes, in my bad bavarian english, they are yours.

Hi,
I've had a look at your pin assignments and they look OK.
May I suggest when you post a pic that you crop and resize it with something like 'Paint' so that it will fit on the screen, it helps convey info better.

What I read is:
X axis enabled step= port1 pin 2 dir =port1 pin3
Y axis enabled step=port1 pin 5  dir=port1 pin6
Z axis enabled step=port1 pin 8 dir= port1 pin9
A axis disabled step=port1 pin8 dir=port1 pin9      A duplication, shouldn't matter given that the axis is disabled but confusing, I would correct it.
B axis disabled unassigned
C axis disabled unassigned
Spindle enabled step=port1 pin 17 dir= port1 pin1

Can you confirm? I found it difficult to read the pic having to scan around with the scroll bars.

Thomas's suggestion about checking the active plane is very good.

The other suggestion is that some how you are feeding the same signals to both the X and Y axis drivers. Do you have separate drivers or all on one board?
