No jogging now
« on: September 09, 2009, 07:13:41 AM »
Hi i have been doing some screen designing "Standard Lathe Screen" and now the manual jogging has stopped working

I can use the jog toggle button to change to mpg and this will work with my mpg

I change screens and jogging works again

Any ideas ?

You need a jog on/off button on the screen to allow jogging.

Jogging on off defiantly there, i have moved it to page 0 surely that wouldn't make a difference.

It has to be on every page you want to jog on.

I put it back on a page but it still doesn't jog.

Are you sure it's not in MPG mode?

Now I'm confused after you edited your posts. If you have a Jog on/off button on the current page, and you're in the correct jog mode, it should jog.

Hi i have now solved the issue with the clues you provided

I am using the fantastic Machscreen program

I checked the button properties for the jog button on an individual page it had global set to NO

On the page i have the button it is a global page "0" i changed the buttons properties from global Yes to global NO and now it is working
