plasma and ugly blokes who aren't paying for it - so harsh environment. i.e. shuttlepro looks cute enough but can't see it lasting to teatime - maybe I'm wrong.
Home, jog, start, stop should do it.

Hi Tweaks - well I guess I'm asking for recommendations for a pendant / mpg that will stand up to a dirty environment and heavy handed use in an industrial environment...

Thanks

Don't know how chemical resistant or dust resistant, but I have a Vista CNC pendant and I love it. it works so much better than the Parallel model I had from CNc4pc prior to this one.
The setup was almost too simple and the controls are easy to master.
I highly recommend it.

Thanks cj - sorry it's taken me so long to reply - I somehow missed your post. Must have got lost in all the other replies
which one do you have? The P3E with the EE box looks like it fully handles E-Stop correctly - so might take a shot at that one.
Thanks again

HI IAN, I have not seen any GREAT pendants for plasma use other than the ones I have purposely built. All the normal ones eventaually fail due to the metalic dust from the plasma cutting process.
The ones I built ARE dustproof/waterproof and have lasted.
one was from a modio unit and the other was a pokey unit.

Hi Terry, thanks.
What would you say are the pros/cons of modio vs pokeys for a self build pendant? i.e as you've used both, if you were to do another pendant which way would you go?
Cheers

Hi Ian, If it is a simple pendant then PETERS mODIO. iT IS STONE COLD DEPENDABLE. (my favorite)
The USB has more funtions at hand BUT every once in a while it gets a little flaky on the usb side with mach.
IF it is a fancy dancy pendant with a lot of bells and whistles then the USB would be easier to work with as it has more functions all ready to go.

Hi Terry, not sure whether I want simple or fancy dancy at the moment so I'll take a look at both and see what I come up with.
Thanks
