Learned a new free program called Sculptris version1.02 to make a 3d Panther head

That program is great, isn't it? I get started with it and the time FLIES!!

I really need to get some time and actually cut something from it, lol!

Nice work as always-

The Paying sample, that got me a commitment for create a large sign for the front of the commercial building. That one will be made out of HDF Signfoam3 18lb 20" x 30" x 4"

Seem I am getting quite busy as of lately, I might have created a market here. ;D ... Lots of Christmas orders starting too.

Here is a one using Osage Orange, Nice hard, tight grained wood. Holds a pretty good edge and very pretty without staining.

The Wrap for the totem pole is 60" x 13" x 6" Longest and thickest one I've done, HDF and painted
He wanted the metal pole that held the totem up covered.

I filled between with "Great Stuff" foam, protecting it with 24" wide waxed paper, so the foam would not stick to the HDF inside curve. Then wrapped it with straps till it expanded, conformed to the shape and cured, then removed it and machined the outside to suit. Photo shows the rough cut.

Using latex caulking to hold the wrap in place & to seal it. Again holding it with straps till cured. Fun project  ;D Even got to do some hand painting for effect.
