Sorry for what is probably a stupid question but how do I set a default rapid positioning rate
for plasma cutting

Go under motor tuning and test till you have a speed that you and your machine are happy with
Use the slider on the side to change the Velocity and test it by clicking on the graph with the mouse, them press the up and down arrows...

OK, I get it, the max speed set in motor tuning gives the rapid travell and the cut speed is set by the code
