Galil Spindle delay problem?
« on: October 18, 2007, 01:40:29 PM »
Hi Brian/Art,

When I toggle my spindle cw or ccw, if I have any dwell (been using 1 sec.) the toggle locks up, I can turn it off ounce but can not turn it back on.  MDI of M3, M4 works the same. The dwell light comes on and stays on.  If I have no dwell set, then the spindle toggles normally on and off as much as I like.  Can you please look into this and tell me if I have a setting wrong of if the Galil plugin or Mach has a bug?  Thanks,
Jim C.

Jimmy, I haven't had the opportunity to play with the Galil plug-in. How do you have your settings set in config, ports and pins, spindle? Can you post a screen shot of that for us?

Hi Brett,     I not sure how you do those fancey things like sending a screen shot,  if you can walk me through it, I would be glad to do so.  It seems to work fine in PP mode.  So I asume it is in the Galil plugin,  I believe you will need a Galil board installed to test it out.  I am using a DMC-2140 over ether net.  Thanks for the help, Jim

If it is doing fine on the PP and not the Galil, I suspect you are right. I have placed a screen shot to help explain a little. There may be some settings in the plug-in, not sure though. I have sent you a personal message.
