If you hit the stop then the best thing to do is take a note of the line number that the program was stopped at then re-home the machine as there is a possibility that you could have lost steps by hitting the stop button. Then clcik on the code screen and scroll down to the line you want to start from then press Run From Here button. Mach will run through the code up to that point once done you then press the start button and a box should pop up asking if its OK to move to that position. If you have a safe Z setup then it will use the safe Z to go to the position stated. Once its reached the position you just press start again and you should be back to where you left off.

When you Press "STOP" you are telling the software to stop NOW and there is NO decel. This is not how you should be running your mill and if you would like to pause that is the "FeedHold". Feedhold is what you should be using if you would like to restart.

I hope that helps

Brian, if after feedhold, you jog the table, what would the procedure be to continue from where you had hit the feedhold?

When you press Start you should then get a prep move box popping up showing the move it will make to get back to where it left off. If this is correct you press OK and it will make that move and wait for you to press the start again to continue with the code.
