« on: October 17, 2017, 07:10:29 AM »
Hi...I am trying to get info on how to connect a Z Touch Plate on a Chinese 3040T...I can not get any help from Where I Purchased it, Asked for a schematic etc...nothing.... Does anyone know how to hook up a Z Touch Plate with one of these... The 3040T ..Has the Single Cable Output from the Controller to the Engraver...

TIA
Billy

Hi,
do you have a spare input on your controller?

Would I come off the Power Supply...or off the Z Board...I have to assign it a PIN and a Low Out put...Just not 100% Sure and I would hate to blow anything up

NO

You take a wire from whichever Port and Pin is assigned as 'Probe' in Config. / Ports and Pins. This wire is connected to your 'touch plate'. If your cutting tool is not already connected to GND then you may need an additional wire. You then add a suitable script to the on-screen Auto Tool Zero button.

Hi,
so do you have a spare input you can assign as a probe input?
