E-stop error??
« on: May 06, 2007, 09:32:10 PM »
Hello all,

I am getting an e-stop error as if a switch was activated. There is no pattern to this, it even happens when the machine is just sitting there. I have checked each switch in the diagnostic screen, and raised the debounce from 2000 to 3000.
Any thoughts???

Sounds like it could be a noise problem.

Hello,

The problem is, what kind of noise is coursing this problem.
If it is a spike or puls from a quit high frequency what is coursing is problem, you can try to solder a 5nF capacitor paralel on the switch or even better as near as possible on the computer or breakoutboard.
But it even couldt be a bad connection.
