Author Topic: Am I missing something when it comes to drilling holes using LazyCam?  (Read 6238 times)

Hi fellow members,

I recently purchased Mach3 with the free LazyCam beta, and I am experiencing a problem with the importing of drill files.    I use a PCB CAD program called SprintLayout 6.0 and export the files as a series of HPGL files.  I have the option of exporting the isolation milling file, perimeter cutout file and drill file as separate files, or combine them as one file for export.

I have had good success with milling the isolation paths and cutting the board out to the proper size of my design, but I cannot seem to get the drill files to work.  whether I try importing the files separately, or together as one big file, LazyCam never shows the drill holes on the screen.

If anyone has any ideas I am open to suggestions.

pcbcnc3020,
There is a manual for LC in Members Doc's. See page 41 for drilling holes.

Rich,

Thank you for replying to my post.

Is the document you are referring to the 123 page LazCam manual, or is it a different one.
