Smoothstepper port 3 pins?
« on: March 22, 2013, 11:39:18 AM »
Hi, does anybody know if you can use smoothstepper  port 3 input pins for single ended MPG connection and if so which can i use to connect two MPGs. They are currently connected to port  2 but i could really do with the port 2  inputs for other stuff?.

Many thanks

You should be able to do that no problem.  The pin numbers are the same as for a Parallel port just have to choose to use 2-9 as inputs (like a parallel port) if you need those I think.
