disable output
« on: August 17, 2012, 03:42:37 AM »
hi,

i want to disable/enable my spindle in mach to prevent the spindle from running from gcode or button on the machscreen. is there a way (oem code) to disable/enable the output i use to start the spindle. i allready looked in the oemlist but i could not find any, just to disable the axis.

tnx

I do this by having the enable signal  to my servo drive going via a switch on the panel, if your drive needs an enable signal then you could do it that way.

You could  do it that way as well with a brain or macropump that looks at a LED (Operated by a screen button) before it will enable the spndle drive.
