Hi ,
does some knows the name of the Gali connector ? Looks like scsi with 100 pins .
I never find it in Germany , where can I get some ?

Yes, High Density SCSI II connector. ICM1900 or 2900 are typical break out boards for them. Which model do you have?

You will need two breakout boards & cables if you intend to use more than 4 axis. Circuitspecialists.com has a cable and a din rail mounted terminal block, I would rather use the ICM1900 or 2900 as everything is neatly labeled.

"Galil connectors" Top quality 100pin made in Japan available through RS-components.com Stock No; 749-4825  they also have shrouds and other - 80pin and 36 pin  of the same type with go to Galil ( mine 2260 )
This stock number mentioned is for Plug Cable mount MDR 101 series for flat ribbon ( computer ATA kinda cable) I have bought "solder bucket" of the same type for Mitsubishi Melservo range if you like soldering your wires :-) .

Made some experiments with cables connectors Mitsu MR J2 10A and Mr J2S 40A + Galil DMC-2260 ( galil is pain looks like I got some OEM but manage to install 1.0q firmware on the end ;-) This one is 12 MhZ differential encoder input controller it is not a lot consider modern 17bit Mitsu encoders ! 
I decide to make my very own cables reason one been- reliability with every connector every screw on the 100 pin cables is simply reduce the odds consider high vibration environment doesn't look good, financially ether ( cost of Cables and two ICM2900!) . Second - the Mitsu amps have very standard A B Z differential encoder outputs so need no ground no encoder power, amp enable and logic ground - total 10 wires.  Plus analog command screen single core an this is it if we talking connections in between Galil and Mitsu I certanly manage this much.
 
One question I have for Galil Gurus. In torque mode Mitsu maxing out on torque @ +- 8V were Galil output +-10 is not creating much of problem but reducing dynamic range of controller - is it possible to adjust this 10V in Galil and witch commands to burn?
 
Right testing - using standard 1.25mm pitch flat ribbon No shielded ( screen ) .
 
Mitsu Mr-j2 have no issues @3000rpm 8192 pulses per revolution with flat ribbon cable 2Meters long ( newer need this longer than 1/2Meter) spread on the floor pulse train just under 409600Hz, in differential seems to work with no hiccups pulse train on Galil end looks nice and clean ( digital oscilloscope used) 
 
Mitsu Mrj2s  131072 puces per revolution encoder @3000 rpm ( now I know why Mitsu have electronic gearing on digital input :-) 6,553,600 Hz frequency and still looks clean !! Lets add some power cables from the motor to the mix ( sorry motor ain't loaded - not much current through cables) ok + 1kW builders halogen cable ON/Off/On... and all working!
 
 Conclusion I'm not spending money on Two ICM-2900 breakout things :-) and screened 100Way cables :-))
When finished and tested properly I'll publish schematics or offer ready made Direct Cables MItsu-Galil brand :-)

Ilia, you can limit the output voltage with the TL command.  I use it on my Matsuura because the amplifiers actually take a -6 to +6 voltage range.  Galil is VERY handy when running obscure stuff.  :)

Yes, exactly like that.

Drive enable is a function of the Mach enables.  I believe you can stagger the enable delay in Mach 3, but I do not know how.  You may want to pose that question in the General section.
