I've owned it, so can speak from experience, The only thing they are good at is hounding you with phone calls if you show any interest. They are relentless salesmen.

Can you give some insight into why so many negative preceptions about BobCad exist?
It is the sales, the actual functionality of the product, or support?
I am curious and surely  others  would be interested in some insight.

i have v18 & v23 and i am really not to happy with the product. i dont do fancy machining but it is a lot of editing in the moves. just yesterday i was doing some text work and i found many lines where the z was not coming up for the next letter. what a mess. just waiting for some cash to come in to get some other cad-cam software with not so much of a learning curve.  tom

“I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the fine presentation and training in the BobCAD class. The interchange and insight spoke volumes as well as the participation by all. You seem to have a complete knowledge of the material and presented it in a fashion that was very understandable and informative. It was well worth the effort on my part to be there. I look forward to keeping in touch. Thanks again!”

All CAD CAM system have a learn curve and if you spend the time to learn BobCAD CAM V24 there is sooo much you can do with it.  I understand that salesmen in general can be a big pain in the butt.  So for those of you that want to learn about BobCAD CAM with out all the shenanigans call me!  I will help you learn what you can do with BobCAD-CAM and how it works.  Do you really think there is no learning curve to other CAD CAM products.  It takes time, and the more time you put into the software you more you can get out of it.

Rich,

I am not sure why there are so many negative comments about the BobCAD CAM software.  My guess is a lot of the comments are about salesman, and our older software.  I can tell you that over the years our company and grown in many ways. The bottom line is the V24 software is an awesome program and can produce great parts.

Post processors are very important, and if the mach users settings don't match the post then their can be some real problems.   But like I offered before, anyone that needs a good mach post just let me know and I'll email you one.

Al
