Problem with mach3
« on: February 28, 2012, 06:40:59 PM »
Hello everyone. I'm new here and I'd like to ask you something.

I have mach3 installed on my computer. Computer is totally ok, can support mach3. When I connect cnc machine to the computer and try to start motors they are moving.......so difficult. I've tried the same motors and the same drivers on my friend computer and they work excellent. Can someone help me with this?

Run the driver test and see what it looks like. Also may be your parallel port s only 3.3v and your drives require a 5v port. Another thing to try is enable Sherline mode and see if that helps.
