I would suggest you go  to device manager and delete the Mach pulsing engine and see if that cures your issues.

I do not have any Mach3 related items behind the Windows Start button.
If I click on any of the Mach3 icons on my desktop, I get a G76 thread cutter calculator?
I did see that someone else had an issue and deleteing the pulsing engine had potential.
I did delete it from my machine but there was no change.

I can't believe there is no uninstall procedure?
The unistall.xml file is 60 pages.
Will I have to go through and manually delete every file listed on there?

I'm not off to a good start here?

There should be a shortcut even if you installed to Program Files I would have thought, I just tried it and there was and also the Uninstall there worked fine.

Try doing a system restore to before the time you installed Mach and see if that helps.
Next time just let Mach install to its default C:\Mach3.

The default at install was C:/Program Files.
The Video agrees with you.
I didn't get the option and just thought that it would build the Mach3 folder itself?

I'll try to restore to an earlier point.

Well I have been using Mach for about 7 or more years and as far as I can remember the default it wants to install to was  always C:\MachX where the X is the version, ie Mach2 or Mach3. So it seems strange that yours would choose Program Files and I dont have a clue why it would.

So I just did a reinstall and the default was C:Mach3.
I manually changed it to C:/Program Files and it installed it at C:/Program Files/Mach3.
So it built its own folder called Mach3.
Now, behind the Windows Start button, there is an icon for Mach3 and in the sub menu there is an uninstall option.
But this option will not uninstall the files at C:/Program Files.

I am still having the other problems?
And the program filles are still at C:/Program Files?

This is really frustrating and time consuming.

The restore point didn't work either.

Sorry dont follow, first why change it to programme files? Just delete the files from Programme Files if you want rid of them.

Hood, I think he WANTS the program in that (Program) directory, and not the default directory. Is this correct, MSS?

Yes I think I am seeing that now but I if I understand he is expecting the uninstall to delete the ones in the programme files folder (not the Mach3 in folder ones) but the ones installed previously which for some reason didnt have the uninstaller loaded.. Well thats not going to happen as the uninstaller will only delete where they were installed to in that install.
No problem anyway, just manually delete them, if unsure what ones then arrange the icons as last modified in programme files and that should show them up in order so make it easier to delete.

I understand about the uninstaller, but what I don't understand is why this needs to be in the programs list to start with for him?

MSS, why not just leave it as the default installation?
