I typically cut 600,000 lines (+ - a few) engraving lithophanes.  Never a problem with Mach3 burping.

Lithophane... learn something new every day. Do you have pictures, or links to pictures? I'm curious to see what you do...

Hope I haven't messed up this thread.  I can not see anything but a solid blank screen on page 2 for some reason. Strange ?

I've run over a million lines before on some large patterns. 30 - 40 hour continuous cut times with no problems. Unless of course you forget to turn off the tool path display before you load!
